RATING
This movie i saw last night i would rate "not so special". May be i was overhyped before i saw the movie.
PLOT
Suppose you could travel back in time.........Suppose you had the power to modify one moment of your life...........Suppose you could undo one past tragedy and wipe it from your memory..........
HEADLINE
The Butterfly Effect technically refers to a theory which says "It is lot difficult to predict the weather in advance because of the complex system. The system in which small event like flap of a butterfly can affect some winds which affect others and consequently may result a storm miles away from the event. This is also called Chaos theory.
SPOILER
The movie is somewhat similar to the above theory circulating around life of a guy EVAN. Other characters are mother, best friend, girlfriend, girlfriend's brother and girlfriend's father.
Our Evan is suffering from incidental memory blackout problem. Which i am sure i have this problem too in my real life. In which person can't remember just after the incident that "What happened?". For instance after any accident a person cant narrate how it happened. What ws his role. Losing memory from one point of time to other point. Otherwise everything is normal with the person and his memory except some particular events.
Movie is a fiction it depicts how much small incidents can affect our life and others life too. Evan can go back in past and can manipulate the four events that he has blacked out. He changes events several times in past and sees the results in present. If not found good, he goes back and changes again.Small manipulations changes his and others lives drastically. In one incident he goes back and and changes his wordings only to his girlfriends father and that in present changes girlfriends brother from a psychopath to a well behaved man.
